Welcome to The Grey Hotel! This is home boarding especially for greyhounds, where it’s all about a chilled, laid-back vibe that lets our guests do what they do best: relax and roach, scoff and snooze, amble round the Suffolk countryside having a sniff and a wee before going back to check out another bed.

But it’s not just about the comfort of our hound guests; we’re also here for the convenience of you, their owners. It’s a greyhound home boarding service that aims to deliver exactly what we would want for ourselves. That means:

• No minimum stays – if you just need us overnight, not a problem
• Any day, flexible check-in/check-out – because sometimes plans just don’t fit into 9-5, Monday to Friday
• No peak time premium pricing, just one rate throughout the year 
• Multi-hound households a speciality – we know that finding room for two, three or four dog packs is not always easy, so we're delighted that we are licensed for up to four guests. We’re equally thrilled to welcome one or many to The Grey and there's always plenty of love to go round!
• Commonsense rather than rigid rules – we don’t ask that your greyhound is perfect and we don't want you thinking you can't book in because your boy might whizz up the houseplants. As long as they at least tolerate other greys, then we're good.

We’re not part of a franchise organisation or home boarding ‘brand’, there’s no ‘middleman’ or booking fee, just a private business doing something we love; and what you see and who you see here is what you get every time. 

With our location in West Suffolk, we're close to the Essex/Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire borders, and about a 90 minute run from London, and an hour away from Stansted. We're rural - but not too rural!
